Who we are

The Mother Lode Art Association (MLAA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 1951. Our federal tax ID (also known as an EIN) is 87-0715424. The MLAA promotes the arts and appreciation of the arts in our community.   


​Meetings followed by an art demo are held the third Monday of each month except July, August and December. Our Plein Air group meets weekly, weather permitting. Starting in 2026 February, April, and June meetings will be held in the evening.
